The goal of these actions is to identify, test, assess and make known the relevance of sustainable agricultural practices adopted to local pedo-climate conditions, favourable to the Hamsters and compatible with technical and economic constraints found in farms. On one hand, they are based on studies and preliminary tests, and on the other, on a partnership-based definition of practices to be experimented in an open agricultural environment, where farmers are associated with this approach, upstream.
- Animal husbandry of Hamsters for conservation actions (A1)
- Synthesis of biological requirements and references concerning favourable habitats for the species (A2)
- Tests in controlled conditions on the impact of innovative cultures on the Hamster’s biology (A3)
- Identification of agronomic practices with a strong biological potential (A4)
- Experimentation in an open environment of the most promising agricultural practices (C1)
- Biological assessment of innovative agricultural practices (D1)
- Assessment of the social, economic and environmental impact of the concrete actions tested in the Alister Project (D5)
- Exchanges, sharing and transmission of results to farmers (E1)
- Transmission of Alister Project results to domestic and European decision-makers (E5)
